Work with us

Joining the team

We are always looking for motivated people to join our group. Links to specific open positions will appear at the bottom of this page but we will also consider spontaneous applications from strong candidates with common research interests.

For an overview of our research topics, please have a look at the interests of current group members and projects in which we are currently involved

We strive to create a stimulating, open and safe environment for everyone, and we particularly encourage applications from under-represented groups.

If you would like to work with us, please send the information detailed below for the corresponding role to the email address qat-hiring@inria.fr. Messages can be addressed to the team or to the specific PI(s) you would like to work with, if you already identified them.

Research interns and PhD candidates

If you would like to apply for a research internship or a PhD position, please specify in your message what program you are currently involved in, what topics you feel you’ll be able to contribute to, why you are motivated in working with us specifically, the expected start date, and the expected duration for the internship.

Please attach to your message (in pdf format):

  • a cover letter (mandatory for PhD applications)
  • a curriculum vitae;
  • a transcript of your grades so far (ideally, the transcript will also contain information as to how to interpret them, e.g. percentile of students in the same class getting that grade, average grade for that course, minimum and maximum grades possible, …);
  • if applicable, reports of previous internships (mandatory for master students and PhD applicants);
  • contacts of up to 2 potential referees (mandatory for PhD applications).

Postdoctoral researchers

If you are applying for a postdoctoral position, please send us the same documents required for PhD applicants with the following modifications:

  • no transcripts of grades;
  • no internship reports;
  • a list of publications;
  • a research statement (3 pages maximum).

If you are applying for a software development internship or a software engineer position, please submit the same documents required for research interns or postdoctoral researchers, respectively, with the following modifications:
